The last year has been tough on us all, with everyone having to adapt to new ways of working and the battle with COVID-19 has meant many of us have not been able to see family, friends and loved ones for a long time.
However, over the last couple weeks. Those in charge have began to provide us with roadmaps, and routes out of this pandemic and back to our normal ways of life.
Over the coming months, many changes are going to start taking place, throughout every sector and every aspect of life. Slowly allowing us to return to normal and move forward.
Guidance & What it means for you
After government announcements about the progressive loosening of restrictions, it can sometimes be difficult to keep track of what the current government guidelines are!
The Government website is a great source for the most up to date information supplied by them, the link to the website can be found below;
https://www.gov.scot/publications/coronavirus-covid-19-guidance-moving-home/
Another great resource for information is the Shelter Scotland website. They have lots of information for both Landlords and Tenants on the current restrictions covering all sorts of things such as allowed maintenance that can be carried out, restrictions and guidance around evictions, and guidance for those looking to move home during the pandemic!
The important points are that home moves are still permitted under restrictions so, it will still be possible and made easier to move home, as restrictions relax over the coming months and currently, the government recommend only getting absolutely essential work carried out to minimise the risk for both the property occupants and those carrying out the work. However, as restrictions relax it will become easier to get maintenance for properties carried out, both essential and general maintenance!
Here at Pebble Mountain we are looking forward to the relaxing of COVID-19 restrictions, allowing us to work even closer with you, our landlords and tenants. To provide you the best experience possible!
Stay safe, and see you all soon,
The Pebble Mountain Team.
